Installation Services
At AeroClime, we provide full turnkey installation services for all types of commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems: from single unit installations to large scale multi-system projects across Ireland.
We take the time to understand your site, your operational requirements, and your long-term plans before recommending a solution. Our approach is independent and impartial, we recommend what is right for your site, not what is easiest or most convenient.

Our Installation Process:
- Site Survey – One of our experienced senior engineers will visit your site to assess your requirements, understand your operational needs, and discuss the best options available to you.
- Tailored Recommendations – Based on the site survey, we will recommend the most suitable manufacturer, system type, and refrigerant for your application – including low GWP hydrocarbon options where appropriate.
- Quotation – A detailed, transparent quotation will be issued based on your site survey and chosen solution – no hidden costs, no surprises.
- Full Turnkey Installation – We manage the entire installation process from start to finish, ensuring a seamless, professional, and fully compliant installation.
- End-of-Life Replacements & Upgrades – We also carry out decommissioning, relocation, and upgrades of existing systems, helping you transition to more efficient, compliant, and future-ready equipment.
- Commissioning and Handover – Every installation is fully commissioned and signed off by our engineers, with full documentation provided and operator training carried out at handover.
Hydrocarbon Installations
If you are planning a new installation or upgrading an existing system, now is the ideal time to consider hydrocarbon refrigerants.
With F-Gas regulations tightening and traditional HFC refrigerants being phased out, hydrocarbon systems offer the most future-proof, compliant, and environmentally responsible solution available today.
AeroClime engineers are fully certified to install hydrocarbon systems and have hands-on experience commissioning some of the first units of their kind in Ireland.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a site survey involve?
One of our senior engineers will visit your site, to understand your requirements and how you operate. They will talk through some of the possible options available to you.
We will then recommend the best product that suits your requirements and issue you with a quotation.
Do you install outside of Waterford
Yes. We’re based in Waterford, but our engineers travel across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
We regularly work with clients in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast
What type of equipment do you install?
We can install a wide range of refrigeration & HVAC equipment, such as:
Commercial refrigeration – cold rooms, freezer rooms, display refrigeration, refrigerated counters, condensing units, remote refrigeration systems, process cooling and refrigeration alarm systems including leak detection systems.
Commercial air conditioning – split systems, multi-split systems, HVRF/VRV, cassette units, ducted systems, ceiling/floor-mounted units and heat recovery systems.
Commercial heat pumps – air-to-water and water-to-water.
Commercial chillers – air-to-water and water-to-water.
Commercial ventilation – AHU and fan coil units.
We can supply equipment from multiple manufacturers.
Can one system provide heating and cooling to different areas, at the same time?
Yes. HVRF/VRV systems can cool and heat different rooms simultaneously.
This suits buildings with mixed thermal demands, such as offices, hotels and healthcare facilities.
Do I need ventilation as well as air conditioning?
Yes. Air conditioning cools, heats and removes moisture from the air, but recirculates the air already inside the room rather than bringing in fresh air from outside.
Ventilation is what introduces fresh outdoor air and removes stale air, odours and indoor pollutants. For most commercial buildings, the two work together rather than one replacing the other.
The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, as amended by S.I.255 of 2023, require employers to make sure sufficient fresh air is provided in enclosed places of work.
Can you replace or upgrade an existing system?
Yes. We carry out decommissioning, relocation and upgrades of existing systems, helping you move to more efficient, compliant and future-ready equipment.
Can systems be connected to a building management system (BMS)?
Yes, where the equipment and site require it.
Our commissioning service includes BMS assistance, to make sure that the system integrates properly with your existing controls.
What happens at handover?
Every installation is fully commissioned and signed off by our qualified F-Gas certified engineers.
You will receive full documentation, and we carry out operator training on site.
Ready to Discuss Your Installation?
Whether you are planning a new installation, upgrading existing equipment, or simply want to explore your options, we are happy to carry out a site survey and provide a no-obligation quotation.
